St. Christopher’s ANNUAL PARISH OUTING DORNEY PARK & WILDWATER KINGDOM FRIDAY, JUNE 14, 2019 It’s time for our Annual Parish Get-Together! Come out and enjoy a fun filled day of rides, entertainment and water fun with your family, friends, teachers and classmates.
Father's Day Mass Remembrance Envelopes are for Living and Deceased Fathers. Father’s Day Spiritual Bouquet Cards are for Fathers that are living. Both are available in the church or at the parish office. Please return the intention envelopes to the parish office or put it in the collection basket so that your Father’s Day intentions can be placed on the altar and be remembered in the masses on Father’s Day and the rest of the month of June
For May, the month of Mary, we will end the Rosary on Tuesday May 28th. Then on June 4th, we will resume Our First Tuesday Rosary. We ask Mary to guide Pope Francis and the Bishops as they work to rebuild the Church. We gather in the Adoration Chapel at 6:30
As most of you are aware, Father Sean English, who has made such a contribution to our parish with his zealous ministry, is being transferred to Visitation B.V.M. Parish, Norristown as of June 17th. Father Sean will be succeeded by Reverend Stephen H. Paolino, who is coming to us from Saint Anthony of Padua Parish, Ambler. We will all miss Father Sean very much. On a happier note, I can tell you that the seminary officials have assigned a transitional deacon to St. Christopher’s. He is a young man named Deacon August Taglianetti and was ordained a transitional deacon a few weeks ago by Archbishop Chaput. A transitional deacon is on his way to the priesthood. It is the last step a young man has before he is ordained a priest. Deacon August will be with us for the summer. You will see him as deacon for Sunday Masses and for other things throughout the summer.
