Contact: Office for Catechetical Formation Top of Page QUO VADIS DAYS 2009 What: Quo Vadis Days 2009 is a five-day camp experience from August 16 to 20, for young men ages 14 thru 17. Sponsored by the Vocation Office for Diocesan Priesthood, this summer camp provides a time for fun, prayer, and talks to help young men explore the themes of the camp: Teambuilding for Christ, Forgiveness and Conversion, and Vocation. Activities include: Liturgy of the Hours, Mass, Adoration, movies, ropes
course focused on team building, BBQs, sports and other games, discussion
groups, and talks by religious and civic leaders. Top of Page MEN’S SPIRITUALITY CONFERENCE On March 7 at Cardinal O’Hara High School, the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, in collaboration with several men’s groups, has a Pauline theme from the Letter to the Romans, “Let us . . . strengthen one another.” (Rom. 14:19). Cardinal Rigali stated in his letter regarding this workshop that “As sons, brothers, fathers, grandfathers, and friends we are called to a life which reflects our love for Jesus Christ in all that we say and do.” The primary goal of this conference is to provide an opportunity for men to gather to hear prominent speakers on various topics regarding how Jesus Christ has impacted their lives, to share our various experiences with other men and to pray together. Catholic Social Services Northeast Family Service Center offers counseling from The Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Delaware Valley. They can provide budget, credit, and housing counseling as well as a debt management program for those who are overextended with credit card debt. Counseling is offered in person, by telephone, and through the Internet. Individuals are asked to call either the toll-free number at 1-800-989-CCCS or 215-563-5665 to schedule an appointment.
