ITEMS OF ONGOING IMPORTANCE

NOTICE FROM THE SEVENTH DISTRICT OF THE PHILADELPHIA POLICE DEPT.

Now that “No Parking Any Time” signs have been placed all along the west side (Bustleton Avenue side) of Proctor Road, the Captain of the Seventh District has informed us that police will be enforcing this regulation. He is increasingly concerned that the congestion caused by parking on both sides of the street will prevent emergency vehicles from traveling down Proctor Road. We certainly do not want you to be ticketed by police while you are at Mass. Please us one of our lots, and do not park on the west side of Proctor Road.

This is a reminder that all archdiocesan volunteers and others who work with children must:

  (1) obtain criminal background and child abuse clearances.
  (2) attend a Safe Environment Program,
  (3) read the Standards of Ministerial Behavior, and submit signed acknowledgment to our office, and
  (4) Make sure that the Parish Office receives a copy of the criminal background & abuse clearance forms
once you receive them back in the mail.

Volunteers who have not completed the above need to see your moderator. We must enforce all of the above and need all material to complete our files. Thank you for your cooperation.

  • You can direct your bequest to a specific program in the parish.
